Product Information

Gasketed plate heat exchangers use a series of corrugated plates assembled between a frame plate and pressure plate. Gaskets seal the channels between plates, while the fluids normally flow counter-currently to provide efficient thermal performance and a close temperature approach.

Key Alfa Laval features include CurveFlow™ for improved media distribution and reduced fouling, OmegaPort™ and FlexFlow™ for improved flow and thermal efficiency, PowerArc™ for plate rigidity, five-point alignment and SteerLock™ for reliable plate positioning, and ClipGrip™ for easier gasket attachment and maintenance.

These marine heat exchangers are suitable for engine-room central cooling as well as heating, cooling, heat recovery, condensation, evaporation and FSRU glycol-heating applications.
